Summary

• The tools process your input locally in your browser. It is not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
• The site has no accounts and the tool pages set no cookies. Adsterra's ad frame may set cookies.
• Tool pages may show ads from Adsterra in an isolated frame that cannot read what you type.
• Our host, Cloudflare, measures page views and load times with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It never receives tool input.

Tool input

Text you paste or type into a tool — JSON, tokens, URLs, timestamps — is processed by JavaScript running on your device. This site does not transmit that input to any server, does not log it and does not store it. Closing or reloading the page discards it.

Local processing limits who can see your data, but it does not make sensitive data safe in every situation. Browser extensions, shared computers and your own clipboard can still expose it. Avoid pasting live credentials or personal data into any website, including this one.

Data stored in your browser

If you switch between light and dark themes, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key theme. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

If you use the exclude page, the key devpenh-owner is saved the same way. While it is set, this site loads no ads and no analytics script in that browser.

Hosting and server logs

Like any website, the pages are delivered by a hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, the provider may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser user agent, the URL requested and the time of the request, for security and to operate the service. These requests contain the page address only — never what you type into a tool. The hosting provider's own privacy policy applies to that processing.

Fonts and all other assets are served from the same site. Apart from the analytics and advertising described below, no third-party font or script services are contacted.

Analytics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which has Cloudflare Web Analytics enabled for this domain. For visitors outside the European Union, Cloudflare adds a measurement script from static.cloudflareinsights.com to pages. It reports page-load timings along with the page address and referrer, your country, and your device type, browser and operating system. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics "does not collect or use your visitors' personal data".

The script runs on this site's pages and reports only the data listed above. The tools never pass your input to it. A content blocker will stop it.

Advertising

Tool pages show up to two ad units, labelled "Advertisements", served by Adsterra. Ads are not shown on this page or on the terms and contact pages.

Each Adsterra ad loads in a frame served from a separate address, ads.devpenh.com. Your browser keeps code from that address apart from the tool pages, so ad code cannot see anything you paste or type into a tool, and it cannot read the tool pages' local storage. Ad code may set cookies and use storage within the ad frame. Your browser does contact Adsterra and the advertisers it works with to display the ad. They may receive your IP address, browser and device details and the address of the page, and may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver ads, limit how often you see them and measure clicks. Their own privacy policies apply to that processing.

You can limit advertising cookies by blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings or by using a content blocker. The tools keep working either way.

Affiliate links

Some guides contain affiliate links, currently one link to UptimeRobot in How to Monitor an API Endpoint for Free. If you buy a product after following such a link, the site may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Each link is disclosed where it appears. This site loads no affiliate scripts or tracking pixels; the merchant's own site may set cookies to record the referral after you follow the link.

Contributions

The site does not currently accept contributions. If that changes, this page will describe how payments are handled before any link goes live.

This site is intended for software developers and is not directed at children.
